• Outreach to consumer and trade media
• Writing and posting press releases
• High “touch” contact with blogs (especially the “mommy” blogs)
• Managing samples & giveaways
Time & comp:
• Hourly position
• Up to $50/hr
• Up to 40 hours/month
Part-Time Admin
Well organized, well-rounded experience with attention to detail.
Duties include:
• Data entry
• Sorting and filing of paperwork
• Expense reports
• Sort back emails and call out

• Up to $20/hr
• Up to 30 hours/month
Story Writing
Funny, playful, game-oriented entertaining word-smith who likes to delight and educate children.
Duties include:
• Writing two paragraph stories about the maps, characters, objects, and places in each kingdom
• Writing web & UI prompts & cues
Time & comp:
• Per entry payment
• Hourly when data entry with minor editorial (e.g. adapting Wikipedia). ~$15/hr.
Illustration & Design
Inventive, creative, and flexible. Cartoon character aesthetic and appeal to younger children. Ability to work with and adapt licensed characters and existing styles. Technical proficiency, including Flash and Illustrator.
Duties include:
• Adapt licensed art libraries to Kidlandia format
• Translate real animals into Kidlandia aesthetic
• Design and script beautiful implementations of the Kidlandia.
Time & comp:
• Hourly position
• Up to $20/hr
• Up to 30 hours/month
Interns:
Engineering
Experience and interest in social networking applications and implementations
• Implement FaceBook and FaceBook Connect renditions of Kidlandia.com
• Most likely an engineering student at UCB, Stanford, or another major institution
Online Marketing
Interest in learning Affiliate networks and SEO / SEM tracking and optimization
• Most likely a business major or MBA at UCB, Stanford, or another major institution
Illustration & Design
Cartoon aesthetic and talent with digital art creation. Ideally capable also in Flash animation. A love of maps is also desired.
